Day 01

Guwahati - Shillong (100 KM 3 HRS)

Welcome to Awesome Assam! Upon your arrival at the airport or railway station, our representative will be there to greet you and provide assistance. Prepare yourself for an unforgettable journey as we embark on a memorable road trip. Our first destination is the enchanting city of Shillong, often referred to as the Scotland of the East.

Upon reaching Shillong, we'll make our way to the magnificent Umiam Lake, also known as Barapani. Here, you'll have the option to engage in water sports, adding an extra layer of excitement to your adventure. Afterward, we'll proceed to check in at your hotel in Shillong.

In the evening, you're invited to explore the vibrant atmosphere of Police Bazaar, the largest local market in the area. Immerse yourself in the hustle and bustle of this bustling marketplace before returning to your accommodation for a comfortable overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 02

Shillong - Laitlum Canyons -Krang Suri Falls - Shillong (90 KM 2 Hrs Per Way)

Following breakfast, we head to Laitlum Canyons to witness some awe-inspiring views. Next, we visit Krang Suri Falls, one of the most magnificent waterfalls in Meghalaya. Here, you have the opportunity to swim in a naturally formed pool and admire the waterfall from behind. In the evening, we return to Shillong for an overnight stay.

Day 03

Shillong - Mawsynram - Mawphlang Sacred Forest - Shillong (65 KM 1.5 Hrs Per Way)

Following breakfast, embark on a visit to Mawsynram, renowned for receiving the highest rainfall in the world according to recent geological reports. The region is famed for its numerous caves. Later, proceed to the Mawphlang Sacred Grove, one of the largest Sacred Groves in Meghalaya. This forest is meticulously preserved by the local community, as nothing can be removed from it due to its protection by local deities. Explore the Khasi model village before returning to Shillong in the evening. Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 04

Shillong - Dawki - Mawlynnong Village - Cherrapunji

After breakfast, we'll explore Mawlynnong Village, renowned as the cleanest village in India. This charming and vibrant village, located 90 kilometers from Shillong, is celebrated for its cleanliness and picturesque surroundings. Besides its cleanliness, Mawlynnong offers various attractions including the Living Root Bridge and a unique natural phenomenon where a boulder balances on another rock.

Next, we'll proceed to Dawki, situated along the Indo-Bangladesh border. Here, you can enjoy boating in the crystal-clear waters of the Umgnot River. Afterward, we'll head to Cherrapunji for an overnight stay, where you can unwind and enjoy the serene surroundings.

Day 05

Cherrapunji Local

Wake up early today to immerse yourself in the captivating mornings of Cherrapunji. Embark on a journey to explore various attractions including the Garden of Caves, Eco Park (closed on Wednesdays), Dainthlen Falls, Nohkalikai Falls, Nohsngithiang Falls (Seven Sisters Falls), Mawsmai Cave, and Thangkharang Park (closed on Wednesdays). After a day filled with exploration and adventure, retire for the night at Cherrapunji for a relaxing overnight stay.

Day 06

Cherrapunji - Guwahati (160 KM 4.5 HRS)

After breakfast, we'll proceed to Guwahati. Upon arrival, you'll check in at the hotel. We'll begin our exploration by visiting Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra, a venue where Assamese history and culture are showcased. You can also explore the Assam Film Museum to learn about the history of Assamese cinema. Don't miss the opportunity to visit GTAC Tea Lounge, where you can savor a cup of the finest Assam Tea and purchase some to take home. Here, you'll find a wide variety of teas including Organic, CTC, Orthodox, Green Tea, White Tea, and Purple Tea.

Later, we'll visit the Mahabahu Brahmaputra River Heritage Center and the newly opened Park at Brahmaputra Riverfront. In the evening, you can opt for a River Cruise on the mighty River Brahmaputra (direct payment). Additionally, you may explore the local market where you'll find Assam's famous products such as Assam Silk, particularly Golden Muga Silk, Assam Tea, Bamboo, and Cane Products. You'll spend the night in Guwahati.

Day 07

Guwahati Departure

After breakfast, we'll check out from the hotel. If time permits, we can embark on a tour of the Kamakhya Temple and other temples in Guwahati, including the Purva Tirupati Shri Balaji Temple, Sukreswar Temple, Navagraha Temple, Umananda Temple on Peacock Island, which is the smallest inhabited river island in the world. Additionally, we can explore the Assam State Museum, Dighali Pukhuri (Lake), State Zoo cum Botanical Garden, Planetarium, and the Assam State Emporiums. With cherished memories, we'll proceed to Guwahati airport/railway station for our onward journey.

Additional sightseeing or extra usage of vehicle, other than those mentioned in the itinerary. Camera fees, Guide / tour escort charges & Entrance Fees. Any cost arising due to natural calamities like, landslides, road blockage, political disturbances, etc (to be borne by the client, which is directly payable on the spot). Any increase in taxes or fuel price, leading to increase in cost on surface transportation & land arrangements, which may come into effect prior to departure. GST. Insurance. Anything which is not include in the inclusion.

If you wish to prepone or postpone your travel dates, we kindly request that you notify us at least 15 days prior to the scheduled journey date via email or SMS.

Customers are allowed to prepone or postpone their tour once without incurring any additional charges, provided the request is made in writing at least 15 days in advance. Any subsequent changes will attract additional charges.

Please be aware that some service providers (such as hoteliers, transporters, etc.) may impose prepone/postpone charges, even if our 15-day notice requirement is met. In such cases, these charges will be deducted from the advance payment.

All preponement or postponement requests are subject to availability of services (e.g., hotel rooms, Volvo buses) and may vary depending on the season (peak/off-peak).

We do not accept any plan changes within 15 days of the travel date. However, in rare situations such as adverse weather conditions or strikes, postponement may be permitted. In such cases, we will notify you accordingly.

The validity for utilizing your advance payment in case of a prepone/postpone request is six months from the date of payment.

Your advance payment and invoice number are transferable, meaning you may pass your booking on to a friend or relative.

  • 50% in advance to be paid at the time of booking.
  • Airfare is calculated at the time of proposal creation and is subject to change at the time of booking.
  • 100% payment is to be made for domestic packages before 4 days of the departure date.trip
  • 100% payment is to be made for international packages before 14 days of the departure date.
  • In case of cancellation standard cancellation policies will be applicable or may be changed as per the policies

  • 29 - 20 days before date of departure : 50% of total cost
